“I love taking my child to the park on weekends or evenings. Our neighborhood keeps adding more fun spaces. My kid adores them a lot,” said a resident surnamed Zhang, expressing her enthusiasm for the community’s improvements.
To enhance family-friendly amenities, Xinda Community has renovated parks with over 1,000 square meters of dedicated playgrounds, giving residents plenty of options for outdoor activities with their children.
The community also conducted surveys to better understand children’s needs for public spaces. Based on feedback, parks were upgraded to include natural elements, rest areas for adults, and shelters for rain and sunlight. For example, the Bizhou neighborhood park now features colorful greenways, playgrounds, and child-friendly badminton courts.
Additionally, Xinda Community organizes themed events such as traditional cultural activities, intangible cultural heritage workshops, and physical fitness programs to engage families and foster community bonds.
